“Everyone should do Boot Camp, especially if you have difficulty doing what you need to do on your own, and especially if your body fat is very high and you want to improve your stamina. I am 60 years old, and I have been diagnosed with low thyroid function. My metabolism was running next to nothing before I started Arlington Boot Camp. In ten weeks, I lost 24 pounds. I lost 12.5 inches total from my waist, hips, thighs and upper arms. Three of those inches were off my waist, which is the best place to lose if you are concerned about your health. “I wear a device called a Bodybugg that measures how many calories I burn. On my first day of Boot Camp, I burned 460 calories during the hour-long workout. Afterward, I went home, showered, got ready for work, and then sat in my car driving. By 9 a.m., I had burned 1034 calories!! Hope told me that the programs are designed to increase metabolism for 24-48 hours after each workout, but this was crazy proof that it works!! During my second workout, I burned over 500 calories. During my third workout, I burned 788 calories. That’s more than I used up doing a continuous hour of spinning class. During my fourth workout I burned 850 calories. For those who may need a little nudge to get moving, I thought I would write this little testimonial about diet and exercise. I must confess, I have never been much of a dieter, or exerciser, before coming to Arlington Boot Camp. My motivation for joining was to improve my health. As I have gotten older my weight was gradually increasing and my blood pressure had surpassed the "High Blood Pressure" threshold of 140/90 at, 145 / 96. I knew I had to do something, especially if I wanted to avoid prescription medications. I decided to join Arlington Boot Camp and in just three weeks, my blood pressure has dropped back to normal, 121 / 75, wow! I have gotten stronger, have more energy, less stressed, and healthier, thank you. I never knew that exercise could be so much fun!
